Rastriya Beema Sansthan is Nepal’s first MIS and E-Governance company with its market holding of about 40% of Insurance business in Nepal. The Insurance Financial Management system for RBS is a customized and versatile application developed in order to manage most of the Insurance activities. Rastriya Beema Sansthan has diversity of Insurance business transaction. The company’s Non- Life Division has several portfolio Fire, Household, Vehicle, Aircraft etc. besides its life Insurance division. The system covers all aspects of insurance requirements for its different portfolio to effectively manage a paper-less system.
RBS has maintained two separate systems for each life and non life division, but data can be synchronized replicating from one server to another as per the requirement. This makes easier for users to supervise both division’s transactions and to reconcile data between the departments upon necessary.
The software system has helped the company to maintain not only the current day to day transaction but also to keep on its huge un-audited several year’s transactions in a systematic manner to make it ready for auditing purpose.
