Backup Recovery System

Basically we recommend backup to be done every day after completion of transactions. The backup can be made in any type of disk devices such as hard disk, zip cartridges, tape drives or in floppy diskettes depending on how much company can afford. |

Database Size Limitation
The system, we have designed does not confined into a limitation of database size, that after a certain period of time the system has to be recycled. The platform we have selected is one of the best database computing tool in the world that even largest of the larger company has preferred it and using it. The size of database is parameterized and it can be extended later when data size increases. Because of this feature, the system can be run as long as user wants. However, we recommend to create an extra database that holds history data, which not only increases performance of the system but also data query become faster as it does not have to scan unwanted data. Also it makes safety its old data in that database. |

The system accepts all nepali format date, since most nepali companies uses BS date as their standard format date. The nepali calendar can be setup by using a tool in the system which automatically converts BS date to that of AD date. |
